NIKKI HALEY FOR PRESIDENT
The Challenge
When Ambassador Nikki Haley decided to run for President, she had a small staff and limited budget. Her campaign needed an aggressive travel schedule in the early primary states of Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina that showcased a professional operation and a future president — all while guarding costs.
The Solution
From the first kickoff event in Charleston, South Carolina to the 168 events that followed after, Wide Shot’s president and team organized some of the most visually-impactful, media-savvy events during the 2024 cycle.
The team first took the time to identify vendors who could produce in short order and at-cost. Smart decisions were made to spend money on the most necessary elements of a campaign stop. Members of the press were always taken care of, and the footage from events produced a sense of growing momentum for the candidate.
Nikki’s kickoff event was widely praised, as was her roll out and full initial week long tour in Iowa and New Hampshire.
As primaries began, Nikki hit the road for a bus tour, making dozens of stops, each of which required its own planning and coordination. Locations were scouted, bus routing was finalized, and crowd building conducted. The bus tour involved additional challenges of competing with weather at outdoor sites, and handling pesky protestors with local security.

DOCTOR OZ FOR SENATE
The Challenge
A staple of daytime television, Dr. Oz entered his 2022 race for U.S. Senate as an outsider to political campaigns. When he hit the road, Dr. Oz needed to introduce himself to Pennsylvania voters in a more conventional, grassroots way.
The Oz campaign also needed to get signatures from Republican voters to get on the ballot. This was not an easy task, as Dr. Oz had limited connections to the Party operators typically responsible for signature collection and ballot access.
The Solution
For the initial campaign roll out, we conducted more than two dozen town hall events, drawing thousands of attendees who would hear Dr. Oz speak, and also provide their signatures to get him on the ballot. Because of our crowd building efforts, Dr. Oz filed his candidacy with more than double the number of required signatures.
During the general election, interest in Dr. Oz’s race grew. Crowds became bigger, and the Oz team decided to host a final set of large-scale rallies across Pennsylvania to close out the campaign.
We executed a series of six, high-profile rallies over the course of the final week. Dr. Oz, who had been running behind by double digits in the polls, had narrowed the race to single digits.
At every stop, our team captured the momentum with visually appealing, high-energy events with large crowds and smooth operations to create the best of atmospheres.
