NIKKI HALEY FOR PRESIDENT
The Challenge
When Ambassador Nikki Haley decided to run for President, she had a small staff and limited budget. Her campaign needed an aggressive travel schedule in the early primary states of Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina that showcased a professional operation and a future president — all while guarding costs.
The Solution
From the first kickoff event in Charleston, South Carolina to the 168 events that followed after, Wide Shot’s president and team organized some of the most visually-impactful, media-savvy events during the 2024 cycle.
The team first took the time to identify vendors who could produce in short order and at-cost. Smart decisions were made to spend money on the most necessary elements of a campaign stop. Members of the press were always taken care of, and the footage from events produced a sense of growing momentum for the candidate.
Nikki’s kickoff event was widely praised, as was her roll out and full initial week long tour in Iowa and New Hampshire.
As primaries began, Nikki hit the road for a bus tour, making dozens of stops, each of which required its own planning and coordination. Locations were scouted, bus routing was finalized, and crowd building conducted. The bus tour involved additional challenges of competing with weather at outdoor sites, and handling pesky protestors with local security.

LAUREN’S KIDS
The Challenge
Each April, Florida-based non-profit Lauren’s Kids organizes a 1,500-mile walk through the Sunshine State called Walk In My Shoes to promote awareness of child sexual abuse. With limited staff resources, Lauren’s Kids needed a team to execute the details of the walk — the permits, liaisons with local law enforcement, route planning, and general tour management.
The Solution
Over the course of nine months, Wide Shot developed a full walk tour plan, consisting of 28 separate walk events across the Sunshine State. Initial routes were proposed in consultation with the Lauren’s Kids team, then sent through permitting with local municipalities and law enforcement divisions. Florida Highway Patrol and the Florida Department of Transportation were also consulted.
Wide Shot confirmed walk registration and staging locations, and coordinated with partners like Run Sign Up, Publix, Sixt, Uber to develop meal, transportation, and digital plans.
Wide Shot sent on-the-ground support, with staff directing each day’s activities, coordinating daily briefings to Lauren’s Kids team members over the entire month.
The tour culminated with a rally in Tallahassee at the historic Capitol steps where more than 500 attendees gathered to show support for ending child abuse.
Thanks to Wide Shot’s expert event planning and in the ground management, Lauren’s Kids amplified public awareness about child sexual abuse, increased understanding about warning signs, and built momentum for legislative efforts to better protect children from abuse.
