What kind of events?

LARGE-SCALE POLITICAL EVENTS

Sometimes your organization needs the attention of one— earned media from press. We’ll work to make sure a press conference, roundtable discussion, or facility tour has all the production pieces to ensure things sound good, look good, and get your message out.

About Us

Wide Shot and its team of event organizers have more than 20 years of experience in the political, corporate, and non-profit event space. Our President has organized some of the most high-profile political events in the country. Every project leader we hire has an eye for detail, optics, and keeping costs reasonable for our clients.

Leadership

Andrew Patterson
President

Wide Shot was founded by Andrew Patterson, who has worked for more than a decade in the event management world, leading projects for political campaigns, nonprofits, and businesses, and helping to produce some of the largest nationally recognized events in the country.

Andrew has built a network of production vendors, political contacts, and security and logistical resources that are the bedrock of any in-person event experience.

Andrew first began his work in the world of “political advance” in the 2016 presidential campaign, planning surrogate tours for the likes of Ben Carson and Donald Trump Jr.

 

As a member of the Trump-Pence administration, Andrew led logistically complex domestic and foreign travel for multiple presidential cabinet members, including Secretaries Alex Acosta at the U.S. Department of Labor, and Ryan Zinke and David Bernhardt at the U.S. Department of Interior. During his time at the Interior, Andrew was intricately involved in the production and planning of two of the largest events in the Trump-Pence administration, the Salute to America 4th of July Celebrations at the National Mall and Mt. Rushmore National Monument in 2019 and 2020 respectively.

 

Andrew has since worked with numerous political campaigns, non-profits, and corporate clients to optimize the logistical moving parts of candidate travel, maximize event visuals and optics, and manage talented teams of advance staffers.

Wide Shot to date has organized over 500 rallies, town halls, speeches, bus tour stops, and other media-friendly events. Recent clients include Dave McCormick for U.S. Senate, Winsome Sears for Governor, and Elon Musk’s America PAC.
